Lightning kills two

NAWALPARASI, Sept 30: Two persons were killed and 16 injured when lightning struck them At Bhadauri in Jaubari VDC of Nawalparasi Tuesday night.



Chunimaya Thapa (34) and her son Chhabilal Thapa (16) were killed when the lightning struck the house of a local Dhan Bahadur Thapa.



They were celebrating Dashain when the lightning struck them. The injured persons have already returned home after getting treatment, the police said.
