BHAKTAPUR, July 10: Senior leaders of major political parties have decided to not opt for an alternative government in the present political scenario informed Forest Minister Bhanubhakta Joshi.

Speaking at an afforestation program organized by the Nepal Engineering College Committee, Joshi said, "The leaders Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Sushil Koirala and PM Jhalanath Khanal have agreed to focus on the preparation of the first draft of constitution and peace process rather than dwelling on an alternative government". He also added that if the government fails to formulate the draft of the constitution within the stipulated time then the public will lose their faith on the leaders and the government as a whole, so rather than dwelling on an alternative government, they should divert their attention fully towards the constitution and the peace process.
