NEPALGUNJ, June 23: Kohalpur Municipality in Banke has put forth its policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year 2022/23. At the 11th Municipal Assembly, Mayor Purna Prasad Acharya presented the policies and programs while Deputy Mayor Sangita Subedi presented the budget for the upcoming fiscal year 2022/23.
Linking the overall development and prosperity of Kohalpur, Acharya presented the local government’s policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year. Deputy Mayor Subedi presented a budget of Rs 1.16 billion for the coming fiscal year.
The policies and programs have been brought with the idea of 'sustainable peace, good governance, development and prosperous city building', to address the grievances of the people, as well as to introduce various programs in the municipality, it has been said
