Khurshid's visit short cut to nine hours

KATHMANDU, July 8: The originally scheduled two-day official visit of Indian Minister for External Affairs Salman Khurshid has been cut short for a day, according to sources at Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA). Sources said he would stay in Kathmandu only for nine hours. [break]



Sources at MOFA said that Khurshid is arriving at 9:15 am on Tuesday morning. He will be holding bilateral meeting with his counterpart Madhav Prasad Ghimire at 9:30 am. Khurshid is also paying courtesy call on President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav, Chairman of Election Council, Khil Raj Regmi and leaders of the major political parties. He will fly back to New Delhi later in the evening.
