Kathmandu Valley campuses’ election results announced

KATHMANDU, March 19: Tribhuvan University (TU) announced the results of the Free Students' Union (FSU) elections. Candidates from ANFSU ​​emerged victorious at Nepal Commerce Campus and Mahendra Ratna Campus in Tahachal.

ANFSU's Vice President Narayan Gharthi confirmed that Bishal Rokaha won the presidency at Nepal Commerce Campus and Ishwar Thapa claimed victory at Mahendra Ratna Campus. At Thapathali Engineering and Maharajgunj Nursing campuses, candidates from the Nepal Student Union (NSU) secured the presidency.

NSU spokesperson Suraj Sejwal informed that Pralhad Khadka won at Thapathali and Bindu Pokhrel triumphed at Maharajgunj.

ANFSU (Revolutionary) claimed victory at Jana Prashasan Campus and Sanothimi Multiple Campus in Bhaktapur. General Secretary Roshan Magar stated that Aniket Tiwari won at Jana Prasashan and Narendra Thagunna at Sanothimi.

Independent candidate Swayam Shrestha secured the presidency at Pulchowk Engineering Campus. The elections, held on Tuesday, saw voting at 38 constituent campuses and 250 affiliated campuses nationwide.
