KATHMANDU, Dec 8: The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development has assured that Nepal currently has a stockpile of 115,312 metric tons of chemical fertilizers.
Releasing the data on Sunday, the ministry said it has a stock of 78,822 metric tons of urea, 29,522 metric tons of diammonium phosphate (DAP) and 6,967 metric tons of potash.
The state-owned Agricultural Inputs Company Limited and the Salt Trading Corporation Limited have been assigned to import chemical fertilizers in Nepal.
