Gautam appointed CAAN Director General

KATHMANDU, May 28: A cabinet meeting on Thursday has picked Sanjiv Gautam, deputy director general of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), as director general at CAAN.

The post was vacant following suspension of Ratish Chandra Lal Suman, the then DG and board member of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), on the corruption case related to NTB in April.


Suman would retire automatically on the age ground on May 6 unless he was suspended.
