The District Court, Jhapa had sentenced him in a murder case 16 years back.
Meanwhile, a person drowned while crossing a stream at Rajgadh in the district on Tuesday. The victim is identified as 40-year-old Birbal Rai. He drowned while crossing a local stream. The incident took place when he was bringing fodder for the cattle from a forest, police said.
