Birbhan BK of Durgamandu-6 and Nipan Sob of Warpata have succumbed to the disease that has affected 40 persons in Durgamandu, 25 in Warpata, 20 in Kanachour and 15 in Lamikhal.
“The rains that arrived after a long drought accumulated impurities from everywhere and contaminated the water sources,” the chief of Doti District Health Office, Mahendra Shrestha, said. Shrestha said medicines have been sent to the four villages and the situation is under control.
