Diarrhea claims two, including minor

DANG, July 13: One minor died of diarrhea in Deukhuri of Dang on Monday.



According to the police, the deceased is identified four-year-old Ramu Giri, the son of Narayan Giri of Lal Matiya-3, Bhalubang. Giri died during treatment at a Primary Health Center in Bhalubang.



Similarly, it is learnt that the number of patients affected by diarrhea has gone up in Bhalubang. Fourteen patients were treated at the center on Sunday alone.



Meanwhile, 45-year-old Bal Bahadur Basnet of Gotamkot-7 in Rukum district also succumbed to the disease on Monday, taking the number of diarrhea deaths in the district to 24.
