This will be nepa~laya’s first venture into the publication of travelogues. Their previous published works include novels – Narayan Wagle’s “Palpasa Café” and “Mayur Times.” [break]
Subedi, a retired government officer and a literature enthusiast, has chronicled in his book his travels to America to visit his daughter and son-in-law.
“Whenever I travel around, I have a tendency to keep notes. I initially put these notes together in an essay format and people around me liked it,” said Subedi.
He added, “The feedback I received after publishing it in some magazines served as an inspiration for me to write the book.”

Kiran Shrestha of nepa~ laya commented, “Subedi has an interesting way of putting his travel impressions, which should be interesting to readers. He’s a representative character because of the increasing trend of Nepalis visiting abroad to see their near ones.”
The book is being distributed by Education Book House and MK Distributors.
