BUENOS AIRES, April 12: An Argentine judge issued an arrest warrant for Justin Bieber on Friday after he failed to appear for questioning regarding a case in which his bodyguards were accused of attacking a photographer in 2013.

Bieber was summoned to appear in Buenos Aires for questioning in November, but he allegedly never showed up.

Argentine Judge Alberto Julio Banos ordered the arrest and "immediate detention" of Bieber and his two guards, Hugo Alcides Hesny and Terrence Reche Smalls.

Bieber allegedly ordered Hesny and Smalls to attack photographer Diego Pesoa while outside a night club in Buenos Aires.

Should the pop singer be convicted for Pesoa's alleged injury, he could face between one month and six years in prison.
