Clinic One offers special discount for hearing-impaired

KATHMANDU, July 18: Clinic One at Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, is going to provide easy services to the hearing-impaired people.

The clinic, in collaboration with the National Association of the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (NADH), will provide convenient services with special discounts to those who do not have, have lost or have minimal hearing abilities.

A program was organized in Lalitpur on Thursday between Clinic One and the NADH to facilitate the treatment of the hearing-impaired.

Clinic One said that the main objective of this agreement is to provide quality healthcare services to those with hearing disabilities. With this, patients with hearing disabilities can get proper consultation with doctors through an interpreter. The clinic believes that their treatment will be much easier and the patients will get the right treatment.

Also, through this agreement, patients will get 35 percent discount on Clinic One services, 25 percent discount on laboratory tests, and 10 percent discount on medicines and vaccines. According to Clinic One, if one comes with a letter of recommendation from NADH, the person qualifies for a 100 percent discount on the services of Clinic One.  

Clinic One started this service six years ago. However, due to the lack of interpreters and lack of information in the relevant places, this service could not be operated properly. According to Clinic One, this service is being operated in support of the service association to address these problems.

Established in Jawalakhel, Lalitpur in the year 2072, Clinic One has been providing reliable and quality healthcare services to patients in a comfortable environment.

The specialties of Clinic One include spacious space, state-of-the-art setup, environment with no need to wait for a doctor, and special attention to hygiene are the specialties of Clinic One. 

For the last two years, Clinic One has provided services by expanding its branch in Bhaktapur as well. Currently, more than     three dozen specialist doctors are serving patients at Clinic One.
