According to the press statement released by Daayitwa, the organization aims to enhance the innovation and leadership capability of the youth to help them advocate for progressive social change and favorable policy reforms on youth employment issues in Nepal.

YuwaAaja, is a three-year national campaign of the Daayitwa Movement, supported by UK Aid and organized in collaboration with ILO, to promote youth employment by; understanding key issues of youth employment; supporting youth to lead evidence-based policy and social reforms; and promoting multi-stakeholder knowledge-sharing. The campaign was launched on April 10, at Hotel Himalaya, Kupondole in presence of leading change-agents from public, private, and social sectors as well as international development communities as per the press statement.

Proceeding forward with the campaign- Daayitwa had called for applications from young, innovative and energetic youths from four professional spheres - politics, civil society, bureaucracy, and private sector - to become Daayitwa Innovation Leaders who can advocate for Nepali youth employment issues. Over 150 applications were received at the local, provincial, and federal levels out of which 30 innovation leaders have been selected by a jury comprised of esteemed individuals from various sectors.
