KATHMANDU,
A biopic ‘Sam Bahadur’ is going to be made based on the life of Sam Manekshaw, a former chief of army staff of the Indian Army who served during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971 and the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of field marshal.
The biographical film will be directed by Meghna Gulzar and will be produced by Ronnie Screwvala/ RSVP movies. The script is written by Bhavani Iyer, Shantanu Srivastava including Gulzar herself. The character of Manekshaw will be portrayed by Vicky Kaushal.
The other actors starring in the biopic are Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra.
