Revenge facebook post shuts down Rasuwa

RASUWA, April 9: A Facebook post posted by an alleged murderer of Chitraman Dangol, 29, over decade old revenge has resulted in a general strike at Rasuwa.

The post presumably typed by the murderer accused Dangol of stabbing the murderer’s brother 12 years ago, and that his death was to avoid any harmful events in the past.  

Dangol, the founder of Modern Trinity English Boarding School at Uttargaya rural municipality-5 of Rasuwa had been out of contact since March 29.  Relatives were taken aback following the Facebook status updated on the social networking site on Sunday evening.

Following Dangol’s disappearance, relatives had filed a complaint at alocal police station on April 1. However, it showed no results, thereby providing additional reason for general strike.

The strike has affected commuters from Kathmandu to Rasuwa and vice-versa. 

“We are investigating Dangol’s case and are requesting relatives to call off the strike,” Sarat Kumar Thapa Chettri, Deputy Superintendent of Police said.

According to Dangol’s brother, Netraman, Chitraman was going to Syafrubesi from his Lahare. After a phone call, he had been out of reach.
