CHITWAN, Mar 14:  Police have arrested Tirtha Sapkota alias Subin KC on the charge of blackmailing women. KC, who blackmailed women and girls and cheated them of money by making obscene videos using their photos, courting them on social networking site Facebook and posting such videos has, landed in police net on Wednesday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Prabhu Prasad Dhakal said, " KC is from Kawasoti, Nawalparasi currently living in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-12 from local Hakim Chok on Tuesday on the charge of blackmailing women and extorting money from them." 

DSP Dhakal said that preliminary investigation by police revealed that Sapkota had cheated a woman from Bharatpur Metropolitan City-22 of Rs 50,000 blackmailing her.

He also called the woman using different phone number demanding Rs 300 thousand from the woman threatening her that he would upload her obscene photos and video on the social media. 

Sapkota was arrested after the victim woman reported this to the police. RSS
