Nepathya is all set to embark on the Three City Concert Tour this January as part of their 25th anniversary celebration. According to the press statement released by nepa-laya, the band had performed open air shows during 2017 in Kathmandu, Butwal and Pokhara and the band now plans to extend their 25th year celebration to other parts of the country as well.
The Three City Concert Tour will commence from Damak in Jhapa district in January 12 with a stopover in Narayanghat on January 15, and will end in Bhairahawa on January 18. The statement added that the band has already begun their rehearsal of both old and new songs for the tour.
The band’s first show will take place at Saraswoti School of Damak, which is being organized by 3ink vision, Jay media and Purwanchal Rocks. Similarly, the show in Narayanghat will be held at the banks of Narayani River on the occasion of Maghe Sakranti. The show will be organized by Dataz Event Management. Nepathya had performed to a packed audience at the same venue almost two years ago.
The band will then head toward Bhairahawa for their final stop. They will perform at the Paklihawa School Ground in Bhairahawa on the occasion of Sonam Lhosar being organized by Perfect Event Squad.
“We had established a special bond with our listeners outside the capital with our nation-wide peace concert tours during the conflict era. We are always keen to stay connected to our audiences through music. I feel fortunate that we are able to share our 25th year celebration with our listeners from different parts of the country,” the press statement quoted Nepathya Frontman Amrit Gurung.
The band will also perform songs from their upcoming 10th album at the concert.
