Youth killed in Biratnagar, two others seriously injured

BIRATNAGAR, July 9: A young man has been killed in Biratnagar. Two people were seriously injured. They were hit with sharp weapons.

According to District Police Office Morang Superintendent of Police (SP) Nabraj Karki, three young men were found in critical condition near Nepal Telecom Office located in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-2 at around 10 PM on Monday night.

Among the injured, 21-year-old Karan Kamat of Jamtoki, Kathari rural municipality-1 succumbed to his injuries. 22-year-old Bikram Mandal and 17-year-old Aman Rai from Jamtoki, Kathari-1 are seriously injured.

Police said that they are being treated at Nobel Teaching Hospital. Police recovered a mobile phone from the incident site.
