Two Indian nationals arrested along with 611 kilograms of marijuana

MAHOTTARI, Aug 8: Two Indian nationals have been arrested for smuggling marijuana to India. Both individuals were arrested on Wednesday night in Bardibas Municipality-14 along the East-West Highway, in possession of a total of 611 kilograms of marijuana.

According to Santu Lal Prasad Jaiswal, spokesperson for the District Police Office, the arrested individuals have been identified as Guddu Kumar Yadav, 25, and Manish Kumar Giri, 29, both the residents of Motihari, Bihar.

Similarly, they were attempting to smuggle marijuana in a mini-truck. Police have taken control of the mini-truck.
