“When I was in school, we often faced a shortage of books. I used to be an avid reader, but could never get hold of the books that I wanted to read. Hence, I decided to open a book store in Kathmandu Valley as this place always has a good flow of students,” said Narayan Sapkota. He is a 45-year-old law graduate and owns a second-hand book store at Bhrikutimandap. Originally from Sarlahi, Sapkota lives in Kathmandu with his wife and two children. “I love my job because I get to meet with many new people. Moreover, I now get to read as many books as I want,” he added.
