Sasto Tickets Best Airlines Award Nepal 2022 successfully held

KATHMANDU, March 16: The Sasto Tickets Best Airlines Awards Nepal 2022 has been held in a grand manner with the intention of making this sector more consumer-oriented and responsive to the people while appreciating the contribution made by the aviation sector in the Nepali tourism sector.

According to a press release, in a special ceremony organized by the Global Accreditation Council P.LTD on March 13, 2023, with the primary objective of bringing the Nepali tourism sector to the attention of the media around the world, the Sasto Tickets Best Airlines Awards Nepal 2022 were announced in 16 different categories.

The winner was selected based on the results obtained from the combination of online voting by the public, data processing by the nomination board and the decision of the jury.

Qatar Airways bagged the award in the category of Best Airline of the Year International. Buddha Air received the award for Best Airline of the Year Domestic.

Likewise, the winners of the Sasto Tickets Best Airlines Awards Nepal 2022 were announced for Best Airlines of the Year Hybrid and LCC to Himalaya Airlines, Best Airlines of the Year in the category of Offline Operation bagged by Emirates Airways, Nepal Airlines Corporation won Best National Airlines, Best Service Provider for Aviation was presented to Nepal Airlines Ground Handling.

Similarly, other winners include Qatar Airways for Best business class, Fly Dubai for Best Economy Class, Air Arabia for Best Cabin Crew, Turkish Airlines for Best Transit Airport Lounge.

Qatar Airways bagged both the Best Airline Rewards Program and Best Airline AirFare Policy.

The honors for Best Airlines Front Desk Support category went to Jazeera Airways.

The  award of CEO of theYear Nepali Airlines has been handed over to Birendra Bahadur Basnet, CEO of Buddha Air .

Sarik Bogati, Manager of Qatar Airways, walked away with the honor of the Best Airlines Manager of the Year International Airlines.

Society International received the award of Best General Sales Agent (GSA) for Foreign Airlines.

According to the press release, the awards announced among more than 300 special guests present at a special ceremony held at Hyatt Place Kathmandu, the hospitality partner of Sasto Tickets Best Airlines Awards Nepal 2022, were handed over to the representatives of the respective airlines.

Sasto Tickets has collaborated with Best Airlines Awards as the title sponsor and made a special contribution to successfully complete this award program.
