Popular TV serial ‘Hijo Aaja Ka Kura’ now in silver screen

People from the 90s grew up watching ‘Hijo Aaja Ka Kura’, a weekly teleserial, which was aired between 1995 and 2013.  However, the popular sitcom television series came to an end.

Meanwhile, borrowing the name of the serial, a movie’s production has been announced amid the special event held in Kathmandu on Friday.  Santosh Pant’s son —Sakar Pant is debuting as director from the movie.

Making under the banner of Pant Film Production, the movie will highlight the struggled story of four families in Kathmandu who are willing to go to the abroad.  The same lead characters of the TV show—Santosh and Rama Thapaliya will be seen in the movie. Besides, Nitesh Raj Pant, Richa Sharma, Keki Adhikari, Rima Biswokarma and Sabin Shakya will also be featuring in the movie.

Written by Santosh and Sakar, the shooting will begin after Tihar.
