Man dies after falling into well in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, June 14: A person died after falling into a well in Kathmandu. According to New Baneshwor Police Circle, Gopal Darji, 40, originally from Bhojpur and temporarily residing in Bagdol, drowned in a well behind Bhisma Upreti's house in Buddhanagar, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-10 on Thursday afternoon while cleaning the well.

After being rescued by the police team, he was rushed to the National Trauma Center. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries during medical treatment at the hospital.
