The Committee has started to run two buses in night shift under the first phase, as per Amrit Timilsina, secretary of the Committee.

The night buses take the route from Pokhara’s Hallan Chowk to Bagar and Zero KM to Kahunkhola.
The route was decided after considering night time activities of Pokhara denizens. The city bus on route number runs along Hallanchowk, Barahi Chowk, Rastrabank Chowk, Birauta, Airport, Bhimsen Chowk, Nandipur and Bagar.

Similarly, the city bus on route number two takes round from Zero KM, Srijana Chowk, Sabhagriha Chowk, Chipledunga, Lakhan Chowk, Gandaki Hospital, Matepani to Kanhukhola.
The Committee plans to gradually add more buses, making a total eight buses in each route during the night time.

Each bus will run at half an hour’s time interval.

The night bus facility has been executed according to the suggestion of a working committee formed under the coordination of Anil Shahi, administration officer at District Administration Office, Kaski. The decision was taken on June 13.
