KATHMANDU, Oct 10: An interaction program was organized to discuss the contents of Rajendra Parajuli’s new book ‘Aghori’. All speakers at the program agreed that the author had provided a new energy to Nepali literature.

“The character and plot of the story are unique. It has not touched any political issues,” said writer Nayan Raj Pandey and added, “We portray society through our stories. Rajendra is a good friend of mine. I feel the stories and feelings in our stories are common.”

The program was organized by writer/journalist, Yagyas. Answering the questions during the program, author Parajuli said, “Generally, I prefer writing stories based on the outskirts of Kathmandu Valley because I belong to one of those localities. I have tried portraying the things that I have seen in our locality.”

‘Aghori’ is the seventh creation of Parajuli. The interaction mainly focused on different sides of writing, states a press release.
