KATHMANDU, July 6: The Nepali Congress (NC) parliamentary party is meeting at 3:00 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in Naya Baneshwar today.

Chief Whip of the NC Parliamentary Party, Ramesh Lekhak, shared that the meeting is being held to discuss the power-sharing agreement reached with the CPN (UML) and to make a decision on it.

It may be noted that the meeting of the NC Central Executive Committee held on July 3 endorsed the formation of a government of national consensus under the leadership of UML Chair KP Sharma Oli.

The NC parliamentary party will also endorse this decision, said Chief Whip Lekhak.

After the formation of a new political alliance and the withdrawal of support by various ruling partners, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has informed the Federal Parliament that he will seek a vote of confidence on July 12.
