Krishna Devi, mother of musician Nhyoo and Pavitra passes away

Nepali musician Nhyoo Bajracharya and social worker Pavitra Bajracharya’s mother, Krishna Devi Bajracharya died at Kathmandu Model Hospital, Adwait Marg on Monday. She was 88.

Krishna Devi’s body was kept at her residence located at Om Bahal on Monday. Mayor for Kathmandu, Bidya Sundar Shakya, poet Durga Lal Shrestha, activist Mall K Sundar and others visited the residence to pay their last respect to late Krishna Devi.

Krishna Devi’s two sons and one daughter are the known faces. Nhyoo is a musician and Pavitra is a social worker. Likewise, her daughter, Nagina Bajracharya is an actress.

Krishna Devi’s last rites were performed at Teku on Tuesday.
