Gold price rises by Rs 1600 per tola

KATHMANDU, Aug 1: The price of gold has increased by Rs 1,600 per tola in the domestic market on Thursday. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations (FENEGOSIDA) has fixed the price of gold at Rs 149,400 per tola for today.

On Wednesday, the price of gold was fixed at Rs 147,800 per tola.  Similarly, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 148,700 per tola on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also risen by Rs 20 per tola.  According to the FENEGOSIDA, silver is being traded at Rs 1,800 per tola today.
