KATHMANDU, May 22: Namuna College of Fashion Technology organized thirteenth graduation show with a theme ‘Sera Di Stilista’ at Hyatt Regency Hotel, Bauddha on Saturday.

The show featured 16 creative designs on endangered species, said the college in its statement. The design were created by 63 graduating students, who took inspiration from birds such as munal, Indian flying fox bat, among others and flowers like coleman’s corat root orchid and white bat flower.

Rojin Shakya choreographed the show. The event also featured four other sequences which delivered various kinds of attires, it said. The ‘Inheritance Deviation’ sequence was inspired by Newari traditional fabric Haku Patashi while the sequence called chromatic titles used color blocking technique. The round called ‘Razzle Dazzle’ had dazzling floor length gowns, embellished coats and blazers with gold and glitter touch. The dress transformation round was another highlight of the show where transformation of dress from one style to another was a surprising and interesting element.
