Three-day national mourning begins today for victims of recent flood and landslides

KATHMANDU, Oct 1: Three days of national mourning are being observed across the country starting today. 

The government has declared three days of national mourning, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives and property caused by monsoon-related disasters.

A cabinet meeting held on Monday decided to observe three days of national mourning starting today.

During the period of national mourning, flags at government offices will be flown at half-mast.
