Senior UN official meets CoAS Thapa

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: Visiting United Nations Deputy Secretary General Amina J. Mohammed on Friday met Chief of the Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa at the Army Headquarters.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed on issues of bilateral ties and mutual interests, according to a press release issued by the Army Headquarters.

The top UN official, who is on a two-day visit to Nepal, had held meeting with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Foreign Minister Pradeep Gyawali on Thursday.
