KATHMANDU, April 30: Regular flights to and from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) have been affected since early morning due to bad weather.

According to the TIA’s Spokesperson Teknath Sitaula, all scheduled take-offs and landings of all flights were affected due to poor visibility.

Six flights including Tara, Buddha and Yeti airlines have been diverted. Spokesperson Sitaula said that Tara Air's Lukla-Kathmandu flight was diverted to Ramechhap while Buddha's four flights and Yeti's one flight were diverted to Janakpur. However, there are no problems with international flights so far, he said.
