Prime Minister Oli returns home from Europe

KATHMANDU, June 16: Wrapping up a week-long visit to Europe, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has returned home today morning. Prime Minister Oli visited Switzerland, United Kingdom, and France from June 9 to 15.

Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport, a contingent of Nepal Army offered guard of honor to Prime Minister Oli.

Prime Minister was welcomed at the VVIP lounge of the TIA by Speaker Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Deputy Prime Minister Ishwor Pokharel, Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa and other high-ranking officials. Oli had participated in the centenary celebrations of the International Labor Organization in Geneva on June 9.

Completing his visit, PM Oli left for UK on June 10 where he met his British counterpart Theresa May and delivered lecture at the Oxford University. On June 14, Prime Minister Oli left for France and attended a special event to mark the 70th anniversary of diplomatic ties between Nepal and France in Paris.
