POKHARA, Nov 23: Flight services from Pokhara Airport have resumed as the fog that had surrounded the city since morning has started to clear. The airport resumed its service from 12PM.

According to Dev Raj Subedi, information officer of Pokhara Airport, the flight services resumed from 12PM after the fog started to clear. Subedi also said that two out of five flights of Yeti Airlines from Pokhara to Kathmandu have been canceled.

Similarly, among the four designated flights on the Pokhara-Jomsom route of Tara Air, only one flight has taken off for its destination. All flights from Pokhara have been delayed as the airport could not resume its services due to bad weather. Flights from Pokhara to Jomsom, Bharatpur, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Simara, and Kathmandu have been delayed due to the same reason.

Visibility of minimum five kilometers is needed to conduct an air flight from Pokhara. The thick fog had covered all the hills around the city, leaving the airport with no choice but to delay the flights. According to airline companies, flights were delayed due to low visibility.
