Oli should not brag about UML’s sun symbol, it is already eclipsed: Madhav Nepal

CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has warned CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli, not to brag over the party’s sun symbol.

Former Prime Minister Nepal mentioned that the UML’s symbol sun is already eclipsed and that KP Sharma Oli should not go around bragging about it. Speaking with media personnel at Janakpur on Wednesday, Nepal also claimed that everyone has felt the charm of his party. 

Stating that he has chosen a pen as his party’s symbol, he announced his plans to launch a campaign to knock on the door of the public with his party's sticker from December 11. He said that he has prioritized equality, justice, development, and prosperity to move his party toward socialism. 

Nepal also said that it will be suitable to rename Province 2 and its capital as Janakpur. When asked if Madhesh can become a different province, Nepal said that he will talk more on the topic after discussing it with other political parties.
