NSSU launches signature campaign for Nirmala’s justice

KHOTANG, Dec 4:
The Naya Shakti Students Union (NSSU), the student wing of Dr Baburam-led Naya Shakti Party Nepal, has initiated a signature campaign for the justice of Nirmala Panta, a 13-year-old girl who had been brutally murdered after rape in Kanchanpur on July 27.

Saying that the government has failed to arrest the culprit involved in the heinous crime committed against Nirmala, the NSSU started signature collection campaign from Diktel Multiple Campus from today.

“We have launched a signature collection campaign to heap pressure on the government to arrest the real culprit involved in the rape and murder case of Nirmala Panta.” said NSSU Chairman Sanjit Rai.

The students union started the campaign from Diktel Multiple Campus and that the campaign will be launched at other colleges in Province 1 as well before sending it to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli through Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai.

Earlier, the Nepal Tarun Dal, youths wing of the Nepali Congress, sent a memorandum to the prime minister through the chief district officer of Khotang district yesterday.
