Minister Giri inspects fire affected area

SANKHUWASABHA, Nov 3: Minister for Irrigation Deepak Giri today inspected the fire affected area at Madi Municipality-4 in the district. 

Minister Giri assured of support for the resettlement of the fire affected people as houses of local Narenda Gurung, Bhuwan Jimi, Gopal Jimi, Suresh Jimi, Bal Bahadur Jimi, Ram Bahadur Jimi and Mohan Dahal were destroyed by the fire on Monday. 

The District Police office has stated that property worth over Rs 50 million was lost in the fire. 

Meanwhile, Minister Giri had met the Nepali Congress cadres at the district headquarters, Khandbari today itself and urged them to be united for the elections, adding that the government was working out to hold three-tier of elections in the stipulated time. RSS
