Medical drone could solve health accessibility

Nepal Innovation Center is developing prototypes of drones that could help to increase accessibility to health facilities in remote Nepal. The drones are capable of carrying a weight of 3 kg to and from hubs and villages.

Serial killer in police net

Umesh Paswan, a most wanted criminal both in Nepal and India was arrested by Nepal Police from Sarlahi. Paswan was wanted for his alleged involvement in a series of robberies and murders. Paswan is also considered a sharp shooter and a serial killer said police.

NAST successfully tests machine convert waste into fuel

Nepal Academy of Science and Technology successfully tested its Pyrolysis machine that could turn plastic waste into fuel in Surunga of Jhapa. The machine can produce 600-700 ml of petroleum product from a kilogram of plastic. The extracted product can be refined to produce diesel, petrol and kerosene.
