KATHMANDU, Nov 24: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that he had to leave the CPN-UML after the party headed in the wrong direction by forgetting the public and the country. Speaking at a program organized at Dhanusa on Tuesday, Nepal accused the CPN-UML of being manipulated by foreigners.

Nepal said that he had to leave his old home in order to pursue truth and justice. “I have formed a new party in favor of truth and justice and am moving forward. Justice and truth will always prevail,” he said.

“Humse Jo takrayega, choor-choor ho jayega (He who collides with us will crumble into fragments),” Nepal said in Hindi. Nepal claimed that he is in favor of democracy, truth, and respecting the rights of the people.

Chairman Nepal also said that his party will always be with the people in the time of weal and woe. He said that he is working toward revolutionizing the agriculture sector as well as creating employment. Stating that a pen always stands in favor of the truth, Nepal said that he had selected the pen to be his election symbol.
