FMTC selling induction stoves (with photos)

KATHMANDU, April 1: Thapathali based Food Management and Trading Company Limited has been selling induction stoves in an attempt to encourage the customers to use electricity.

According to a staffer, about 500 stoves are being sold per day. A piece of the appliance is being sold at Rs 4000 which also includes a cauldron.

When our photojournalist reached on the FMTC premises today afternoon, people were seen queuing up by maintaining social distancing in order to get their piece.

FMTC has a stock of about 2000 stoves, according to the staff at the selling counter.

Along with this, it is also selling other food items including rice and pulses.
