Flag hoisting ceremony held at Embassy of Pakistan coinciding with National Day of Pakistan

KATHMANDU, March 23: On the eve of National Day of Pakistan, a flag hoisting ceremony was held at Embassy of Pakistan, Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Ambassador of Pakistan to Nepal, Syed Haider Shah, hoisted the national flag on the embassy premises. On the occasion, messages from the president and prime minister of Pakistan were read out.

Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Sayed recalled the determination and resolution of Muslims in 1940 to create a separate home land for themselves and their future generations.

He stressed the need to reaffirm the commitment to make Pakistan the homeland that his country's forefathers had dreamed about.
