Five parliamentary committees holding meetings today

KATHMANDU, Aug 11: Meetings of five parliamentary committees are scheduled for today at the same time.

According to the Parliament Secretariat, a meeting of the International Relations and Tourism Committee has been scheduled for 11 AM. The meeting will hold discussions on Taragaon Development Committee and Taragaon Regency Hotels Limited (TRH).

A meeting of the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee will be held at 11 AM to discuss the bill to amend the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059 (2002 AD).

Likewise, a meeting of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will be held at 2 PM. The meetings will discuss with the National Assembly Secretary the scope and boundaries of the committee regarding public policy.

Furthermore, a meeting of the Federalism Enablement and National Concerns Committee has been scheduled  for 1 PM to discuss the actions and future working plans related to floods, landslides and other monsoon-related  incident and disaster management, the conclusions of the study report related to Simaltal bus accident and the implementation plan.
