EPF to take controversial Basnet owned Kohinoor Hills Housing to auction

KATHMANDU, Sep 1: The Employee Provident Fund (EPF) has stepped up to take into auction the property of Kohinoor Hills Housing of Imadol, Lalitpur that is owned by Sudhir Basnet, chairman of the problematic Oriental Cooperative.

Through a public notice, the EPF has called for a 35-day bid to purchase property of the housing spread on 10 ropanis, 9 aana and 2 paisa of land area. Kohinoor Hills Housing owes Rs 1 billion to the EPF.
