KATHMANDU, Sept 29: After the weather across the country improved, domestic air transport service has resumed from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) as well as eight other airports in the country.

According to General Manager of the TIA, Jagannath Niraula, flights using the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) system have been permitted for until 10:00 PM tonight.

It may be noted that more than 400 flights were canceled on Friday and Saturday due to bad weather.

The TIA sees around 150 to 160 daily flights. Regular flights have resumed from all airports except the Surkhet airport, Niraula said.
