CHAUTARA, Jan 4: The Central Investigation Bureau raided the Aashram of Ram Bahadur Bomjom, self-proclaimed Little Buddha, at Bade Gaun today. The CIB was accompanied by a team led by DSP Bimal Raj Kandel from Sindhupalchowk, according to SP Mukunda Marasaini, chief of Sindhupalchowk district police office.

While Marasaini didn't disclose the investigation, he hinted there were some areas that needed to be investigated. Since early morning today, the police have cordoned the Ashram.

"We will keep a close eye on the Aashram throughout the investigation," Marasaini said. Of late, Bomjom has been living at his Ashram in Sindhuli. He had spent 10 months at Bade Gaun.

The CIB initiated the raid after a complaint filed by the families of the victims at Sindhuli and Makwanpur district court. Four disciples have reportedly gone missing while another was murdered.
