Choreographer Aswini Kant Jha honored with 'National Person of the Year' award in Quality Entertainment Awards

KATHMANDU, Nov 19:Nepal's pageant choreographer Aswini Kant Jha has been honored with this year's 'National Person of the Year Honour' award at the second edition of the 'Quality Entertainment Awards' held at Rastriya Naachghar, Jamal on Friday.

The first Vice President of Nepal Paramanand Jha attended the event as a chief guest. Umesh Gurung, the president of Quality Films appreciated Aswini's contribution to the Nepali fashion and pageant and also stated that he was very happy to honor choreographer Aswini Kant Jha, in creating a strong and distinct identity in Nepali pageantry world.

Previously in recognition for his contribution to the Nepali art sector through choreography, Choreographer Aswini, has also won 'National Youth Talent Award 2077' awarded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Government of Nepal. Aswini was honored as the " Pride of Madhesh '' by the Government of Madhesh Province, Ministry of Women, Children, Youth and Sports. He has also been honored with the Golden Brand Award in Singapore including "Best Choreographer" at Nepal Music and Fashion Awards. 

In the same event, many personalities were honored in appreciation of the special contribution made by them in their respective fields. Moreover,this year's 'Quality Entertainment Lifetime Achievement Award' was given to senior sound editor Dika Gurung.
