Biratnagar Metropolis to honor cricketers Rajbanshi  and Kandel

KATHMANDU, March 20: Biratnagar Metropolis has decided to honor and reward cricketers Lalit Rajbanshi and Dipesh Kandel with Rs 100,000 each.

It has been decided to honor Rajbanshi, a member of the national team, and Kandel, a member of the U-19 team, according to the metropolis

Mayor Nagesh Koirala's Secretariat said that it has been decided to honor Rajbanshi, who played an important role in taking Nepali cricket team to the World Cup qualifiers, and Kandel, who played an important role in bringing Nepal to the World Cup by scoring a hat-trick against the UAE in the U-19 World Cup qualifiers, with a cash prize of Rs 100,000.
