VIENNA, Sept 13: The Austrian Football Federation says it still doesn't know who to back in the UEFA presidential election.

Austria and 54 other UEFA members will choose between Aleksander Ceferin of Slovenia and Michael van Praag of the Netherlands to replace Michel Platini as president, during a congress in Athens, Greece, on Wednesday.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Austrian federation says it plans to "hold concluding talks with both candidates" before the voting "about the reform and further development of the Champions League and how they see the future support by UEFA of middle and small nations."

Ceferin has become the favorite after attracting public support from France, Germany, Scandinavian and Eastern European nations, while Van Praag has been endorsed by England.
