28 DSPs promoted to SP

KATHMANDU, June 13: The government has promoted 28 Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSP) to the post of Superintendent of Police (SP).

A secretary level meeting of the Ministry of Home Affairs held on Tuesday decided to this effect. The meeting endorsed the recommendation made by the promotion committee.

Those promoted are Achyut Pudasaini, Pratap Kumar Gurung and Bishwa Adhikari among others.
